Company Ownership

Mrs. Amanda Hauuanga

Amanda Hauuanga started her professional career at the Namibian Investment Centre within the Ministry of Trade and Industry as Investment Promotion Officer and was promoted to Deputy Director for Investor Services. After 5 years at the Namibian Investment Centre, she joined NIB Namibia as Portfolio Manager responsible for institutional pension fund investments for close to 2years, where after she was appointed as Commercial General Manager at Telecom responsible for marketing, sales and customer care functions respectively for 13 years until June 2013.

She entered the event management space during the 2nd half of 2013 as Managing Owner of initially Veda Creations and now Celebrations Events, which is focusing on event planning and management services for corporate functions, weddings and special events.

Amanda holds a B. Comm (Hons), a BA (Hons) and a MBA degree from the University of the Western Cape and the University of Stellenbosch Business School respectively.

She also completed the Executive Development Programme and Event Planning Training at the Business School of the University of Stellenbosch and the South African School of Weddings respectively and has recently obtained a Bible Leadership Certificate from Every Nations Bible School in Windhoek, Namibia. She is further more the Deputy Chairperson of the Telecom Namibia Board of Directors.
